Hi try recaro young sport, expert, and style seats. I could not get ANY car seat to fit my mk3. Tried over 20 brands. Halfords,mothercare and TOYOTA could not offer no help.

my garage moved the rear base seat belt anchor point to the centre of the seat but slightlly higher up between the seats. good secure point there. the lower buckle is then to the side of most car seats not under as is the case normally. been checked and passed as totally secure and safe. passes mot with no problem at all regards belt movement. cost to relocate belt, only £50.

I had recaro young sport too start, upgraded now to recaro expert as lad is now 2yrs, and recently bought recaro style which goes upto ages when seat is not required.

Problem you will have is space, as he/she grows, head is very close to ceiling and legs will touch back of pass seat by age of two.

Its always good to have the car seat installed in the back seat of your car in rear facing position. The rear facing helps the kids from not getting injured at the time of accidents. Hi

Another thuoght is that your vehicle will not have locking seatbelts, so you may want to consider a seat with built-in lockoffs like the Graco Safe Seat. This will prevent you from needing a locking clip.

There are one or two other seats with them as well, but I'm having a mommy-brain moment and cannot remember which ones.
