Do you know the chassis/engine code of your car?

I would first make sure that your car is in good condition, meaning that the engine etc are all in perfect condition. You could start by using 1-2 bottles of fuel system cleaner to get rid of the carb in your engine.

Probably you could change the engine and transmission oil, clean the trottle body, ...

After this, i would start with looking at a new exhaust and intake.

Depending on avail, and your requirements, a turbokit could be next.
