Hi Kingo, its a T (1999) plate, 2.0 vx claims to have top spec,lol it has leather seats and air con. The garage are also fitting a new clutch hence why we thought it would be a good idea.

£300 is about right for a dealer, it's a 3.3 hour job, the parts element being around £35

As you are having a clutch done anyway, I would be asking them to negotiate on the price a bit, this is an older vehicle and your dealer will probably have processes in place to reduce the labour charge on older cars. It wont harm to ask ;)
