Will be attempting this on the next dry day I get so wanted to check a couple of things...

Wires, simply a case of pulling them out a bit?

and.... this bracket that is prone to snapping. Is there anyway of fitting it loosely?

I know the questions are vague but I havent actually attempted it yet to know what Im talking about.

Cheers All

If i were doing this again i would put some more wire on the MAF Plug, as its such a pain when it breaks the wire off. As for the bracket, that hasn't happened yet!

i just took the wire bunddle out the bracket near the bulk head which gives plenty of play in wire.

as for the fixing bracket i never bothered fittin it after hearin bout other people's snapping.

I ended up cutting my wires and crinking in some additional wire. It's cheap and easy.

As for the bracket, AFter mine snapped, I got it welded back to my pipe and didn't bother fitting it again, It'll stay quite still on it's own without the bracket!
