Oil?

Need to do an oil change on my Rev 3 Turbs, just wanted some opinions on what oil other people are using, heard loads of recommendations but thought I'd ask those in the know. Apparently Toyota put in 10w40, but lots of owners recommend 15w50 Mobil 1. Would like to stick with Mobil 1 but wouldn't 15w50 be a bit too thick?

i usen 5w 40 fully synthetic in my rev3 tubby with no problems :D
