 Hi all, been living in Perth Western Australia for 18 years now. Before that 19 years in Blenheim NZ. And of course Liverpool before that. I left the the pool in 1972 and got married in NZ. Still at sea those days. Marine Engineer. I have just retired from management in eng maintenance.

In the past we have owned a Corrolla, Lite ace, and a RAV4.

At present I am considering buying a LWB 4WD Hiace camper. This is a used Jap Import to Australia. Looking for a 2.8- 3 L Turbo Diesel.

We are buzzing all our friends and aquaintances on the subject trying to gather as much info as we can before making a final commitment.

This site looks great.

 Hello & Welcome :D , I'm originally from StHelens , Do you ever visit "home" ? toyota_hightop_campervan.jpg

Hi Flexy7

Yep We were in Liverpool last year. In fact having just retired (early) we spent 5 months wandering around Europe spongeing of all our friends and rellie's.

Greece, Holland, France, Scotland, Wales, England, Spain (Mallorca) Plus Czeq Rep (no one we knew there). Had a great time, especialy knowing that we did not have a definate date to be back in oz for work. Just left before we had worn out our welcome with everyone. Spent the last 10 months trying to shed all the big dinners and wine we were made to swallow. Hmmmmmm

Your Hiace looks like what we are chasing. How do you find it. That looks like a West Australian Plate on the front!!!!

Regards

Scouse

gallery_44539_666_3563.jpg:o No that's not our Hi-ace, just thought I'd insert a pic to see if that was like the one you have, yes it is from Perth well spotted. We did have a (coach built) motorhome but it wasn't a Toyota. I'm into Camrys myself . One of my best friends is emigrating to Australia, he's gotta go for a test in London before he can finally apply for a visa,so hopefully I'll be visiting him over the coming years! Nearest I've got to your part of the world was Hong Kong a couple of years ago!
