I wonder how badly it crashes. Look up chinese car crash tests on you tube and see how badly the big cars do, I imagine instant death would result from hitting anything bigger than a fly in the F0.

Also in the secont link from Joel, the article says that BYD intend on marketing this outside of the domestic market. I'm sure that merc/bmw have just successfully taken leagal action against one of the chinese car makers for trying to sell a rip off in the states.............

Dunno about anyone else here however i like this...

The rear looks MILES better than the Aygo's silly oval rear lights, the fronts are projector-style headlights (which mean they can be fitted with HID kits with the minimal of fuss in every sense - fitment, looks, Legality of it mainly)

And that interior - sheer brilliance... Personally that dashboard (both the blue backlit dials AND Yaris copycat dash control layout) is something i'd love to do to mine...

And look where the window switches are located!!! And here was me thinking the Byd offerings were poor - they've righted Toyota's wrongs!!

1) It's operating both your window AND the passenger window without having to either stretch over or ask politely

2) It's a more pleasing centre console dash assembly instead of after-thought cubby holes as filling them with equipment or anything else would make an Aygo too expensive

3) The headlights look cracking - i'd certainly have a set on my Aygo

4) The Speedo & Tacho backlit in blue there is bloody stunning - i want them.

I REALLY do hope that Byd are coming over to Britain - i'd certainly get friendly with their Parts Dept for sure...

That looks so similar to the Aygo/107/C1 that it could be an official Chinese version.

A bit like the Deawoo Nexis was a 90% copy of the old style Astra.

The other problem is cars have been starting to look very similar for a while now, since most cars are designed for aerodynamics using computers there becomes an optimal shape pretty quick.
