Welll..... I ahve been back and forward from toyota for over a year and everytime they cause more problems for me to go back and get sorted time and time again. Well I thought everything had been sorted after I got the locks finally changed at the end of last week....

WRONG

The :censor: :censor: :censor: didn't change the fuel cap have they NO! they did not! So heres me sitting in a fuel garage arguing with the lock and then realising! After a tantrum I manage to get home just as I completely run out of fuel....

They took the old keys when they changed the locks....

Sooo smarter people that these silly boys they employ ... how do I get into my toyota fuel tank past the lcoked fuel cap! Please don't tell me you can't.

On the loan Aygo I borrowed the petrol cap was about the worst thing of the whole car, I had to get out the damn manual in the garage to get into it.

First try the cap again, to make sure you haven't made an error.

You don't want to force the lock as it'll probably cause more damage than just the lock.

Next I think you phone them first thing tomorrow morning and tell them to bring the keys to you at home (or a loan car), if they argue phone Toyota Head Office.

Looks like they couldn't have done a worse job if they tried! Good luck with that!

Well if i were in that position Vicki i'd be demanding for the following: -

1) The car to be uplifted by whatever means (tow, flat-bed truck ideally)

2) A replacement fuel filler cap ordered to correspond with the new lock set

3) a full tank of fuel as compensation

Yep - it seems that Toyota's supposed "Unbeaten Customer Satisfaction" reputation is slowly but surely getting tarnished here...

I'm personally going to hunt out a Toyota Specialist as i'm getting increasingly put off by Toyota Dealerships... If Byd get the finger out and establish themselves in the UK i could see myself selling my Aygo for the Byd F0

So what was the outcome of this ?

I phoned them in the morning and explained the the lady on the other end and she was look oooo - she then put me on hold whilst she spoke to parts. She then told me to come in as soon as I could so they could fit the new cap.

When I went in I asked them why did they not replace the cap.... they told me it was because they forgot and that they didnt think it needed a new lock although they obviously sent it through for a reason.

After sitting for an hour they eventually gave me my car back...

Got home and realised that they have not put the casing back on the speedometre properly as it was hanging off - they rang again as I just noticed this..... for a customer satisfaction survey.... I told them exactly what I thought.

The receptionists are kind enough

the service is podgy

the they mis out things

they damage things they couldnt touch

and I wish I hadn't bothered

Then they had the cheek to ask me if I would consider purchasing from toyota again....

No comment on what I said :)

I was wrong - they've obviously tried even harder!
