well it's been a long time in the running and it's had it's ups and downs but i've managed to complete the first part of my 3S-GTE conversion!

here are a couple of highlight pics, full details can be found on the thread link in my sig.

the block prior to rebuild, pictured here are the st183 camshafts (slightly longer duration than st185)

short block of the rebuild, wossner forged pistons +1.0mm oversize

longblock of the rebuild, tvis has been removed also by this point, inlet manifold has been port matched

full engine with the first turbo fitted

removing my much beleaguered 4A-FE power plant and g'box

in need of a large shoe horn...

a little bit of jiggling, some the the mounts refused to line up properly.

but eventually it mounts up

it's in and wiring begins, damn it's tight in there though

plumbing in the st165 rad and the evo 4 I/C

then the ECU had to be wired in! real spider's web

and the 2.5inch straight through custo exhaust i had made up

also i had this vid taken when it was working but just before the exhaust was made, so it doesn't sound that loud anymore

Bet that lil thing shifts ;) Must upset a few people being eaten alive by a A lil' 'Rolla.
