Stereo Question:

Hi - have tried looking through to find a solution but havent found any...

I have a 2004 T-Spirit Yaris and would like to find a way to connect my i-pod to the stereo.

Do i have to buy a stereo head unit with an MP3 player port? Or can i just fit an aux cable somewhere and play through the fitted stereo?

Any help is much appreciated.

There's 3 options, depending what you want out of the connection.

1. get a fm transmitter such as the itrip or similar, and use it through the radio.

2. get an auxillary cable/connector such as a connects2 adaptor.

3. buy a head unit with ipod connection (this will let you control the ipod from the head unit).

Thank you - not keen on an itrip so its option 2 or 3 for me!

Is it an easy process to connect an aux cable o head unit? I know certain places will fit the head units for you but am thinking the aux cable would be the cheaper option if its easy to do...

Connects2 is the best bet if you want to add Aux :)
