1990 Mr2 Mk2 Immobiliser Issue

my kids have today been meesing with my pride and joy and set the alarm off. When I parked up everything was fine but now the starter won't kick into life yet it will tow start. I have checked a few things and its all pointing back to the immobiliser. there is a toad fitted which turns all the dash lights on as it should but seems factory alarm is not responding as it should. is there a way to rest this. I don't have a key fob or any buttons to press just a key and ignition then the toad fob which signals the box. hope this all makes sense any help will be appreciated thanks
