Engine Error Codes, And Advice?

I'm seeing the following error codes on my W Reg Corolla (VVTi):

P0170 Generic

Fuel Trim Malfunction

(Bank 1)

P1345 Toyota

VVT Sensor/Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction (Bank 1).

My friend who has one of these code readers helped me get these, and then erase the codes. Apparently if they come back, then it's a real problem.

Two months ago the engine warning light also came on, and the codes weret:

P0130 O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

P0170 Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 1)

P1346 Fuel Level Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

Again, I had these erased.

Is the main dealer the only place where I'll be able to get this fixed, and how much is likely to cost?

P0130 Associated with O2 sensor BEFORE the CAT; likely to be failing

P0170 Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 1) - Can sometimes be associated with Aif flow meter / MAF sensor

P1346 Fuel Level Sensor B Circuit Malfunction - Camshaft position Sensor perhaps?

Personally I think your Lambda/Oxygen sensor is failing and the code P0170 is in someway a knock on from first code or ... ... the MAF sensor has failed and throwing up the P0130 code - but I DO think it is the O2/Oxygen sensor (the one before cat if you have two), especially if car has done more than 60,000 mile.

how is car driving? - fuel consumption up or not?

As for P1346 this confuses me some what unless this is just 'thrown up' due to other fault codes -

-remember Fault Codes are NOT an infalible rectification of what fault is... ...it is only an 'area' of what ECU/ECM thinks' is wrong.
