Hi,

OK i know this has probably been asked before, but new aftermarket manufactures are coming on board all the time:

Other that the (boring) EBC discs are there any more interesting options? Please post links of where to buy

Cheers

I know Rossini do uprated brake discs (drilled & grooved) however i had drilled & grooved discs fitted on my old Almera and dear GOD the vibrating/buzzing noise they made was really discomforting...

What you really need is uprated pads and the brake fluid flushed out and re-filled using DOT 5.1 fluid...

However if you're still intent on getting uprated brake discs then Rotor Discs also do a drilled and grooved set for the Peugeot 107 (which of course will fit the Aygo as well)

I picked up some apec brake pads and discs. The disc look like they're milled instead of ground, also have been heat treated. The pads have a plastic coated additional plate on the bac, which I assume is to prevent brake squeal. i'll see how good they are once bedded in.

I guess Brembo discs and ROESCH pads, both italian products avaible for aygo/c1/107 ;)

To be honest though I find the brakes more than adequate with fresh normal dot 4 fluid. You just need to clean the discs and calipers with some brake cleaner spray every now and again. I do mine when I do the engine oil.

I might try 'dot 4 racing though', it does not absorb water as fast as 5.1 and has a higher boiling point.
