Gearbox Issue - I Think!

hi guys

im not sure if this is a problem or not but recently i have noticed when i change gear the gear stick goes into gear very very easily.

ive had the car over a year now and im pretty sure when i used to change gear there used to be some positive resistance when going into gear. (of course this is something i never paid attention too, hence the confusion :P )

Clutch seems fine, no noises/crunches from anywhere, car still performs the same as before.

there is however some play in the gear stick, not much mind but there its there.

anyone know what has happened?
