Hi Guys and Girls, I hope someone can shed some light on my dilemma, I'm sat on a set of 17" TSW Pace alloys off of my old peugeot 206 and really like the style, I want to know if I can get these to fit on my Roadster via an adapter of sorts. They looked great in situ and hope they look just as good on the roadster.

Maybe a refurb in gloss black with a chrome rim??

You may be able to pick up a "hub converter" but to be honest, to get a good set be prepared to spend over £100 for them, by a good set I mean a set that bolts to the hubs and also has a lip to centre the alloy on, also worth noting that putting on a set of these will add approx 20mm to the hub meaning that the weight of the wheel and tyre assembly won't be posotioned properly over the wheel bearing, this can put extra stress on these resulting in a lower life expectancy (all in my personal opionion).

I wouldn't bother, I would just buy a set of wheels that actually fit the car properly in the first place.

Never heard of a hub converter, will this overcome the 5 stud to 4 stud ratio or bolt line up???!! Cant do much good to the balanced ride of the MR2 if you can get them.

As said by Davy, slap em in the local papers or eBay and buy a set made for the car.

Good call really, I've got two sets of 17's to get rid of and then I'll go get me some deep dish alloys, one's that can actually do the car justice rather than the bargain basement knock off rubbish that came with the car.

Has anyone ever seen the Schmidt alloy on an MR2? they seem to be big with the VW boys, but I've never seen them on an MR2.

Also remember that the 206's alloys will all be the same size,so you will lose the front-rear stagger of the MR2.A safety issue.

Well the ones that are on at the moment are non standard 'ACE' multispoke alloys, and they look like they've been dragged kicking and screaming from the early 90's!! I like the look of the standard alloys but that wasn't an option when I bought the car. Is there anywhere I could buy the alloys from?
