Hey Guys,

I bought a secondhand near-side driveshaft and when my mechanic tried to fit it, on the st205, he said that it was the wrong one. He said the one i had been sold had a bolt-on fixing on the end, whereas the one i needed has splines on both ends.

Some other guy said that the one i had was for a st202 non turbo.

Is this true? Or is there different models of st205 that take a different driveshaft?

Is it for the rear??

Thanks for any help!

Hi there,

I had a similar problem when replacing my CV joint.

Went through 4 different joints all 'apparently' for an ST202 and eventually found the right one. I could be wrong but you might be experiencing a similar problem to what i had.
