Hi everyone, got a question bout my 1989 GTI,when I first start the engine from cold the engine goes

up to about 2000rpm,then after warming up goes down to about 1100rpm,is this normal or is it

running to high? if so can I adjust idling speed myself.Would be grateful for any replies.

it is kinda normal mate, all the gti's do this when they are cold.

Thanks for that, was just a bit concerned about the higher revs from a cold engine, but it does settle

to about 1100rpm which seems fine. Will try to get some pics on shortly :D
