Mystery Beep

My P reg Carina-e has developed a mystery beep. Parked, with no lights, no key in ignition all doors closed, the car issues a beep ( well 3 beeps) every 60 minutes or so ,often longer periods. They seem to be coming from under the bonnet but difficult to pinpoint. Any ideas? Help would be appreciated. :(

I could be the alarm system< dunno thats all I could think it could be really.

If you have a sunroof make sure it's closed properly, cos i searched everywhere for that damned BEEP!!!!!!!!

Checking Roof. Sounds as if that may be the problem. Can't find where the beep is coming from. Will report if I find anything. Thanks for the input.
