Hi All!

I had my clutch changed about 4 months ago through Mr Clutch, l havent had any problems at all with it till last week.

When l depress the clutch peddel l can hear a noise, it doesnt matter if the car is in gear or out of gear l still get the noise when the clutch is down.

My question is do you think im still covered from Mr Clutch to get this reparred on warrenty?

My cars a CTS btw not sure how diffrent the clutch is compared to other rolla's

Thanks in advance !!!

Hi

Just checked and Mr Clutch has a 2 year or 20,000 mile warranty with your clutch.

So I would go back to them and if its a problem with the clutch they fitted then they will cough up the repair bill.

Good luck ... and book your car in now!

Mine has developed a noise on the over run, and a few months ago when doing 80ish i lifted off the throttle and she began to vibrate horribly, it gave a feeling like the wheels were hugely out of balance. I pulled off the motorway having slightly s""t myself thinking something really bad had happened, however following an external and under bonnet inspection all was fine. I then drove away and it hasnt happened since, probably 3000 miles ago. As mine had a clutch when i bought it (25k ago) i think the clutch is ok, but i doubt the CBR was changed, could this be the issue? :g:

what year is your car? is the pedal squeeking? this could be clutch master cylinder not the clutch disc itself.

where does the noise come from and what kind of noise is it?

My clutch pedal does that.

Some days it's more noticeable than others.

Although sometimes it doesn't do it at all!

It seems to come from the engine bay, its not the pedel squeeking l have had the before and lots of WD40 solved that.

My cars a 51 plate, l really really hope its not the clutch master cylinder.

hmm no amount of WD40 is going to fix a squeeky clutch pedal im afraid its a symptom of master clutch cylinder.

the part is about £85 ex VAT from toyota and fitting 1 hour labour ish.
