Glow Plug Issues

Hi everyone

I've read a few posts about glow plug indicators being on all the time, this is now happening on mine.

I tested the output to the glow plugs and it's only live momentarily when the ignition is turned on so its not permanently on.

I then thought that possibly the plugs are monitored and it comes on a glow plug goes down

Anyway I tested all the glow plugs one by one and they where all duff

So I replaced all the glow plugs with new ones but the light still remains on all the time, so they ain't monitored

I am a spark by trade and think that its probably a faulty relay, when I find the fault I'll post again

interestingly one thing I did find is that on the 2ct engine there is a thermostatic sensor for the glow plugs set into the inlet manifold but there is not one on the 3ct engine

so it could just be on a timer.
