well the mr2 is nearing the end of it's warranty. goes in tomorrow morning for an MOT, new brakes, and some new wheels.

any tips at what mr T might try and fob me off with saying I need???

...............I was in the same position in July,,,didnt cost me ewt except the cost of the MOT..although my car has only 22k on the clock ......i thought they may have stung me for something but No,,infact they repaired my cig lighter that i had broken with the useage of sat nav and re-sprayed my break hub thingys that lukd unsightly FOC........PP...

If it's still under warranty Andie, let Mr T fit what ever it needs (Warranty items of course) ;)

And keep an eye on your wheels over the next year, if they start to bubble before the twelve months are up they will still be replaced, I had four sets on mine :yes: , unfortunately I missed the expiry on the last ones and I am now in possession of a set of wheels with more bubbles than an Aero :(

done and dusted. took forever cause i was getting brakes down too. :(

car went in at 10, got it back bout half 4!!!!

Wow.....i was asking because you said it required new brakes ect and i wandered why mine didnt,,,,,,given that they are the same age,,...PP....

it's the miles hun lol how many miles you done on your current set of brakes?

that will be the third set thats on my car now.

I havnt had any..........and my cars done bout 24k miles i checked it before and i have had it since new ,,its now 3yrs old
