How much do you reckon replace a head gasket on an import Mk2 Rev1 N/A ?

Are there any differences between the Jap and Uk ones ?

All the cars were made at the same Yamaha factory in Japan. Yes there are some minor differences between cars for various markets caused by local legislation but as far as the head gasket goes it should be identical. You'll probably be looking at the thick end of £300 but at least you'll get a new cambelt too!

£300 ish.......not too bad.....I can live with that.........it's certainly better than the car spending the rest of it's life on axle stands with a huge puddle of oil under it and it's engine in bits in a cardboard box....
