Yaris 1.0 (1sz-fe) Knocking Noise

A problem appeared on a recently bought yaris 2001 model 998cc When the car is stopped, and I run the engine around ~3200rpm, a knocking noise from the engine appears. I'm afraid that the car is overheated or driven with low oil. The noise is coming from the engine top right side. I think the VVT-i situated there / next to the belt. What most likely could be the problem? Eventually parts price? :( Thanks in advance
