Does the Lucida have a cambelt or a chain ,if it has a belt when is the best time to change it?? :help:

If thats the same as our PREVIA then I think you'll find it a chain. You can normally tell just by looking at the front of the engine. A cambelt only has a plastic cover that is not sealed to the engine as it doesn't need to be oil tight. If it looks like a metal cover thats held on with lots of screws then it will be a chain.

Im now trying to change my timing belt for Toyota Lucida 2.2TD. I still have to remove the shaft and also found to replace the dampener pulley. Which cost big money also. Do you have the procedure of replacing the belt ?
