Autoelectric Mechanic Caused Abs Pas And Hybrid Faults

I have had additional electrical equipment added to my ('58) Prius and the mechanic has disconnected the Battery whilst doing the work. When he refitted it the ABS light was on. When I started it, the PAS light came on and the hybrid system was buzzing every few seconds (like it was doing something - not a warning buzzer)... Two of my colleagues have had the same work done on their new Prii without any problems.

I refused to accept the car and the contractor is arranging for Toyota to repair it tomorrow. With only a quick look the dealer thinks it is the hybrid system, although he hasn't done a diagnostic yet. Have any of you heard of / experienced this sort of problem before?

I have said to the contractors that I would only accept the repair if Toyota give me a written guarrantee that the warantee is unaffected. Is there anything else I should insist on?
