New to all this forum malarky, so here goes, had a townace for 6 years which has never missed a beat, so became a Toyota convert. I bought a Hi Lux Surf 2.4 in March of this year, a great motor for a 15 year old car, electric everything and it all still works touch wood, took it for an MOT this morning and it sailed through, how many 15 year old cars could do that?

Hi Ivan, I bought my first Toyota about 3 weeks ago & it too is a hilux surf but a 3.0, I love it, it's like driving around in an armchair, there are a few minor problems that need looking at but nothing serious, I have a knock on the front O/S suspension that I need to sort, I've started with the cheaper parts which arrived this morning & if they don't work I'll move on to other parts until it's sorted, they are great motors.
