New Member With Used 2003 Camry Le

Good morning all,

Just got a used 2003 Camry LE and the wife wants a remote locking system. So I bought an RS 3200 on eBay and found that it's a major job to install ( about 3.7 hrs. at the dealer). When I scheduled installation of the Rs 3200 the service writer questioned if this kit was the correct one for the car. He ran the vin number and said the car has remote keyless entry and remote fuel lid/trunk releases. So, I really don't need the RS 3200 after all.

My question is this: where to buy the remote fob and be sure it's compatible with the cars system. Also who can program the fob? Does it need to be the dealer?

Also, how to sell the RS 3200 which is new with installation instructions.

Most Toyota's made within the last 5 years actually have the remote central locking contrained within two buttons on the key itself.

However if yours doesnt then you should be able to get the fob from a dealer, then a sequence of igntion and button presses configures them and they work a treat!
