Loss Of Power

hey all,

I was just wandering wether any of you might have soem ideas as to why my car is strugglin to speed up through the gears...used to be nice and sharp, with a noticed speed increase at 4k rpm..but now it feels like i would beaten to 60mph by a lada riva :( any ideas guys??

(have checked air filter btw)

woops silly old me forgot to give some much needed info here sorry bout that

its a 1991 j reg celica gti ,manual (gen 5 ofcourse)

Clogged fuel filter?

Clutch slipping?

Restriction in the exhaust?

Dirty/old spark plugs?

Dirty injectors?

Low quality fuel?

Hard to diagnose over the internet, but it's either one or more of the above.
