I'm wondering if anyone of you have use E10 or 10% Ethanol fuel for our beloved Carina E with EFI engine from 1993 to 2000 model.

I want to use E10 Fuel on my Corona 3SFE engine 1993 model and I don't know if this is safe.

Is this safe for our engine has anyone encounter a problem when using this type of fuel. thanks and I really appreciated your comments on this.

There is no problem of using 10% ethanol in the fuel. Here in Sweden the standard petrol have about 10 % of ethanol. I have tried to drive my Carina on E85 (85% ethanol). To get the engine to work properly on that fuel it is advisable to raise the fuel pressure and adjust the ignition. E85 burns slower and the car becomes much thirstier too. The combustion itself is much cleaner than normal petrol.
