Hi,

I have an Avensis hatchback 2003 D4D T3X diesel. I need to change the front headlight bulbs. Is this an easy task? Could anyone give any advice on the steps I need to take to do this. This is obviously my first time. Many thanks.

If changing main beam bulbs, straight forward enough to get hands in you can figure it for yourself. If dipped beam bulbs a bit more involved, N/S bulb quite straight forward just remove black plastic cover to access bulb a little fiddly but take your time & you should have no problems. O/S is the tricky one very little room ( do not remove bumper as some people suggest) just loosen H/lamp & O/S corner of bumper. Just at top rear point of bumper behind wheel trim you will find 10mm bolt remove this & you will have access to black locating strip attached to bumper this needs to be loosened, this should create enough room to move H/lamp around without removing it to allow bulb renewal.
