hey, has anyone ever got a 20valve engine rebuilt and does any one have any idea on how much it costs, my trueno is burning oil it might be just the piston rings im not sure.

this is an old post but am gona reply for anyone who has the same question, if mileage is over 11000km well anything is expected, the rings usually goes bad first, valve steam seals usually goes bad at around 20000km but if your replacing the rings wen they just gone bad you might as well replace every seal which the complete engine overhaul kit roughly cost about $300us

that should be easy on your hands to find, you live in the uk right? any toyota dealership should direct you to one i suppose, i live in the Antigua and our toyota dealership got as well. do some browsing. cheers.
