Facelift?

Having just got an 05 T3 and signing up to this site I see references on here about "facelift" models.

Obviously the model was facelifted but when and how? I mean how can you tell if it's a facelift model or not and is the facelift better/worth it?

Facelift was second half of 04, 54reg onwards.

Mainly cosmetic differences, different headlights, bumper, interior etc ;)

Facelifts as said above, Outer body was different from the front, mesh look on the front changed, Bumper was different, Tear dropped headlights on the facelift, in addition to side skirts and rear bumper had small lips on each side. Finally interior also changed.

The Face-lift has exterior differences and more toys, look at your headlights if they have a little teardrop near in the grill that goes into the bumper then its a face-lift. If its a straight horizontal line across the bottom of the lights then its a pre.

An equivalent face-lift is worth a couple of hundred pounds more if both cars are the same age & mileage etc, personally i prefer the look of the pre T-Sport as i don't like the side skirts on the face-lift car, however i would like the curtain airbags and some other additional parts.
