Has anyone used one of these fault code readers from ebay?

Ebay listing

Are they any good? do they work on all yaris's?

Looks pretty good to me.... it should do what it says... seller has a good rating and offers a 14 day refund....

In fact it looks so good I think I will buy one.... I usually borrow my mates but at that price I can have my own....

If you want to wait till mine comes I'll tell you what its like...

I got one of thee..

code reader

..OK it's a little more expensive, but it does have a few extra features... not only does it give the code, it also tells you what the cade referes to, saves you looking it up. Well worth a look.

Hi, on the product page it says: " Scanning live data " , so can you read all parameters on the ECU, like turbo charge, air temp, oil pressure, etc, when you're driving?

Hi

Bought the original one on this thread and it arrived a few days ago, have plugged it into three cars now and it does what it says on the tin!!

Didn't have any fault codes on them so can't advise weather it would reset them or the MIL but it seems fine to me.

It is a basic one, it just reads and clears faults, will reset the MIL and also read vin numbers from later year cars. Comes with good instructions (not translated from chinese) and a list of all the generic fault codes you may see.

For the price.... very good
