Going to Greenock yesterday, my exhaust snapped at the flange connecting the back box to the centre pipe. Rust was the cause.

Its only done 16000 miles not good!!!

Had that with my TTE Back Box, thankfully mine started blowing so i was able to get it welded before it snapped! ;)

It may be possible to weld yours back together.

Mine didn't have that much holding it together and my local garage sorted it for £35! :D

toyota warranty covers the exhaust, you should be able to get it changed under that.

My exhaust is blowing too, only done 30k and still under warranty. I'm upgrading next month, maybe i should get Mr T fo fit a new one and then sell it on eBay

Prob not...

Cheers

H

Getting it changed under warrantly, should be £527 for a new back box from mr T. He also advised that all parts for the compressor that make it the compressor have been discontinued.

To be honest I quite like the way it sounds without the rear box, reminds me of my pulsar. Was thinking of just getting a new system made up without the rear box.
