Belt Or Chain On Starlet

My mother has a Toyota Starlet 1.3 from 1999, with the 4E-FE engine. Can anyone tell me if this engine has cambelt or chain?

Guess everything is easy if you know how to do it :)

But i've never even opened a belt cover, so not sure i would want to go as far as changing the belt

My own Avensis is, as i write this at the mechanics, having it's cambelt changed

Belt should take a couple of hrs in the shed, or over an hour in the workshop. But as you say, if you have not changed one before best leave it to your mechanic. But it is one of the easier belts to change.
