Hi All,

Its finally fitted (Now you can stop burning me Mr K ;) ), not difficult to fit just fiddly, the car is stiffer than before with almost no body roll left in her.

I don't care about the trim as i will be keeping the car for a long time....

Just about halfway through the job, didn't really follow the instructions as it wants the cars in bits, managed to do it without dismantling her, just loosened things off

All done parcel shelf shuts as before

It was done within an hour with one drink! Its a 2 man job though as it needs bits holding back whilst your on the ratchet, if you want to cheat and not fully remove all the parts as per the instructions which are ok. Impressed how easily it came apart and then went back together, didnt loose any bits or have any left over either

Has a blast around and the easiest way to describe the improvement would be say pushing the tyres to screeching is easier, and on cambered bends with a rough service the rear flex has pretty much gone, she feels properly tight. I think wider wheels will be needed to improve cornering now*.

*Cant go any lower as she will be beached on my drive :(

Cheers,

I thought the springs made a big difference hopefully you will as well, if not it will at least look 100% better, just have to look out for the kerbs with the splitter which you don't worry about at the moment

Agreed, the springs will make a noticeable improvement. However, each time I improved one aspect of the handling, it just highlighted another that needed to be looked at. I have wanted to fit a rear strut for a long time, but the fact it sits across the middle of the car puts me off as I need all the space I can get as the TS is a real work horse and gets loaded to bursting point quite regularly.

Also since fitting the springs, I have quickly worked out that a lot of multi-storeys are a no go for me as the underside of the front splitter takes a beating in them when going down the ramps.

Cheers for the advice guys. I'll be more careful once they have been fitted and hopefully my splitter will stay intact! :)

looks very smart, i was contemplating fitting one or not. i'd have to make it my self as there isn't one for the e11 but if it's worth it i'll do it!

my wheel plans are on hold now - got a few more hp on the way. careful with wheel choice, if you gonna go 18's dont buy cheap.

Don't know if I can recommend it as i will be risking your wrath  I had to do it because it was bugging me! It truly believe it has made a difference to the back end, it seems to follow better in fast corners and in slow ones there's less roll.

If i do the wheels i will be going 17's on 215/45's, O.Z. Ultraleggera are the no 1 at present.
