i shall try some super unleaded then ;)

ive gotta admit it,last nite on motorway when it was 5 degrees centigrade it really flew

i thought it mite be a sensor?

or does the warning lamp come on if a sensor is down

oh,mileage is 113,with fsh

whats the terminal mileage for these or when do they start playing up

mines great but sounds a little "piston slappy",maybe they all do that

i dunno

thanks for your help,,

any more things i should try celica people?

If you are worried about it take it into a Toyota Centre for a once over. They know the cars better than most.

Don't believe that Super Fuel will make a blind bit of difference - it may but just as well... may NOT! One tank won't change it anyway. Supermarket fuel is supplied by the giants like BP, so nothing cheap about it really is there.

Toyotas run forever so mileage won't make the difference so long as it has been serviced and looked after and renewable parts replaced as and when.

Clean your MAF sensor. Cold weather improvement points to that being a possibility.

Have a search in the different forums, there are different opinions. Becareful though as they are very sensitive and easy to break.

Re the fuel, my car has a different sound on tickover when its on Shell Optimax rather than Morrisions normal 95 Ron Unleaded, it just ticks over smoother and pulls stronger through the rev range. I dont think this pychological, non of the other "super" fuels give the improvement.
