I recently purchased a new Toyota Prius TSpirit, after 3 or 4 weeks I started to get a lot of creaking and squeaking from the passenger side suspension, after a lot of investigation I could not get to the route of the problem and decided to book the car in to my nearest Toyota dealer for them to check it out, it was only after reading some blogs on tyre pressure that I decided to give mine a check and was amazed to find that all of the tyres had over 40 psi in each tyre, after reducing the tyres to the manufacturers recomended psi hey presto all the creaks and squeaks vanished. So I suppose the moral of the story is check your tyre pressure even if it is a brand new vehicle or you could cause some serious damage to your suspension particularly on our smooth British roads!!!!!
