Squeel From Front Wheel When Turning Corners

Hello, me again.

I have a squeel coming from my front wheel (think its only the front left) when I'm turning into corners at low speeds (under 10mph). The pads were changed at 5000 miles ago and the garage says they need time to bed in, but in my opinion its nothing to do with the pads as theres no sound from them when I'm braking in a straight line.

Anyone had this on their motor and can offer advice?

(Its a 54 plate Avensis D4D 2.0 T3S)

It could be that the anti squeal shims were not refitted when you had the pads changed.

You could either get new shims (expensive), or put some copper grease on the back of the pads where they make contact with the caliper.

Dear God check your wheel nuts!!!! I might sound silly if thats not what the problem is, but I was pullin off slowly one night and heard squealing. Turned out to be my wheels grinding of the studs because they were loose! And i was after driving the bag out of it, i was very luck it didn't come off when i was doin three figure sums......... (I was younger and stupider at the time)

But, if its not that, i've noticed that certain types of tires and their pressures can sometimes cause a slight squeal, check the pressure maybe and see if its either too high or too low. I can;t remember which causes it.
