Can The Airbag Warning Light Be Switched Off

As i don't have a baby seat i would like to turn off the annoying light in the centre console warning me that the airbag is activated and don't fit a baby seat. is it possible to turn off the overbright light.

Yes, I think that it's possible... You'll just need to open the center console and remove the bulb!

I just got a decal guy to make me up a sticker, removed the console, took out the plastic housing and stuck it over so it fits perfectly

Why?

You should have just slapped that sticker right on there, I don't see the point of removing the entire console for just slapping a tiny sticker... You could have removed the leds instead, if you're going for that much trouble.

But if the sticker is okay, then there's actually no need to remove anything, other than the paper at the back of the sticker.

I think that he removed the console to put the sticker on the inside, so it won't be visible when you're sitting in the cabin...

So does the back come off the console easily? Had a little feel earlier on by taking off the gear stick gaitor but it clearly needs to come off altogether
