It's advertising by Toyota to keep the Prius fan boys and girls interested. If you can get them talking about a possible new Prius, they'll hopefully forget about the other car manufacturers, or the reality that Toyota that don't have anything other than minor revision in the pipe line.

I love what they have done to the outside, but I think the inside has lost some its uniqueness - looks too mainstream - still good, just not as wacky. The interior shot looks better when you put it in the right aspect too :D

Hopefully the big screen still contains the visual energy meter :)

Aren't they going to be making an all electric Prius model....Sure I heard/Read that somewhere...

I don't think so. Toyota has stated that they see the future remaining with petrol hybrids. But Toyota did launch, in London this summer, a corporate only trial of their official plug-in Prius i.e. if I recall correctly it has additional batteries, slightly increased MPH for the electric motor, and a range of 8 miles before the petrol engine has to switch on.
