Avensis D4d Squeal On Full Lock

Hello, great forum and here's my first post.

I have a 2005 2.0 d4d which has recently started to emit a squealing noise when you apply full lock. The steering also feels unresponsive for a short period as well at the same time typically a couple of seconds. Have only started to notice this in the last couple of weeks when the car has been stationary for a number of hours. I have arranged to leave it in to the local toyota next week to get it checked out. Has anybody experienced something similar to the symptoms I have described. I'm anxious because my warranty runs out in a couple of weeks. Thanks

Sounds like possible drive belt wear. When on full lock PAS is under full load thus causing belt to slip.
