Toyota Vitz/yaris 2003 'beep'

I have recently bought a Toyota Vitz 2003 model and the annoying beeping noise that it makes everytime i select reverse gear is driving me crazy! lol....I know that there is a way to remove it but i can't seem to find how.

Could anyone help me?

Its a thing that imports have... same with many of the other models... there is prolly a wire somewhere that you can disconnect... but wouldnt know where.. sorry

My mates Mk3 MR2 had it, used to make me laugh with the size of the car, its not like he was driving a lorry!!

yeah exactly! flipin stupid...now ill check if my mechnic knows how to remove it...maybe its just a question of removing a fuse....or a wire as JustJ mentioned

All JDM auto imports have it AFAIK! Certainly all my toyotas have!
