If anyone in the know can help Id be most thankful.

I just bought a secondhand VVTLI 53 plate Celica T Sport. 9 days after owning it the dash has lit up.

1.VSC light

2.TRC light

3.Yellow warning light,comes on. looks like an engine. in the celica owners manual picture is on page 97 (f)

Ive just had diagnostic test, came back with fault codes on

PO141 heater circuit malfunction Bank 1 sensor 2

CO371 Yaw rate sensor, output signal malfunction

C1233 Yaw sensor

C1271 Low output voltage of right front speed sensor.

C1272 Low output voltage of left front speed sensor .

C1273 Low output voltage of right rear speed sensor

C1274 Low output voltage of left rear speed sensor

C1275 abnormal change in output voltage of right front speed sensor

C1276 abnormal change in output voltage of left front speed sensor

C1277 abnormal change in output voltage of right rear speed sensor

C1278 abnormal change in output voltage of right rear speed sensor

C1281 Master Cylinder pressure sensor output signal is faulty.

After the diagnostic test, the warning lights went off, only to return 3 miles down the road.

Whats the verdict?

It has recently had a service, just prior to me purchasing it. I bought the car from about 300 miles away so taking it back to the dealer really is a last resort, Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Had same problem with 02 Toyota Corolla VVTL-i re: warning lights.

My Fault code was:

P0410 Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction

After several resets and mucking about by dealer they replaced the secondary Air pump and all pipes and this has cured problem.

I would advise you to get straight back to dealer and report problem because a new pump [if required!] costs 500 for unit alone never mind fitting!

Although you have different error codes you will need to go back to dealer while under warrenty and get them to sort problem for free!

The problem being while this fault exists you have no traction or stability control and so are without two very important safety systems!

I was wheel spinning in wet and you are without VSC too! [useful if you need to swerve in emergency situations or if you hit slippy road, mine comes on from time to time when I hit diesel spills on roundabout].

Hope you get problem sorted as all the warning lights on dash I found very distracting!

Here are details of My code

Symptoms

Possibly symptoms include:

* MIL illumination obviously

* Hesitation on acceleration

* Noise from a bad/stuck AIR pump

Causes

A code P0410 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

* Water may have collected in the AIR pump or the vent solenoid and frozen or corroded the pump

* Blown AIR pump fuse due to freezing up

Possible Solutions

Note: There is a technical service bulletin (TSB) regarding this code for a number of GM models. The TSB calls for the replacement of the AIR pump and the installation of a new secondary injection hose. The TSB can be found on this ACDelco site.

Additionally, if you simply replace the AIR pump the problem may return again (and again). If you replace the pump, also clean out the hoses and replace the one-way check valve. If this is on a GM model that the TSB applies to, follow those instructions in the link above. In a few cases, people have put a small hole in the rubber cover on the pump which allows any water to drain out.

Also, please note that this may be covered under the emissions warranty on the vehicle. If your vehicle is out of bumper-to-bumper warranty, check if the emissions warranty is still valid!

* Replace the AIR pump AND one-way check valve

* Test and clean the AIR pump AND test and replace the one-way air check valve

* Replace the AIR pump inlet hose

* Replace the AIR pump fuse (found under the hood)
