Avensis Engine Oil Grade

I have just recently bought an 06 plate Avensis 1.8 vvti colour collection. Unfortunately the car did not come with the owners manual.

I would like to know what type of oil this car takes, and what brand would be preferable looking at a reasonable budget.

SAE 5W/30 or 10W/30. Don't put crap oil in your engine, allways use a good quality brand ie: Castrol etc. You may also be able to use a synthetic oil but cannot find details.

i use an original's 5W30 all year round.
