Another Eml

As title realy, EML came on for a day then back off again itself with no obvious problems.....

Car is booked for 60K service on tuesday (independant) so am I right in thinking a fault code/s will still be stored even though EML has gone out again?..

The only slight thing I've noticed since having the car (1 month) is cold tickover is circa 1500 revs which seems a little high to me so could this be related?..

It's an 01 4-2 petrol VVTI by the way.

can't answer the complicated stuff, but my 2.0 VVTi probably ticks over at around 1,300-1,400 initially and seems to warm up within 2 minutes and when warm tickover is about 700-800 rpm and still smooth.

Given yours sounds similar then maybe it's just a 'TADTS' , but I didn't have anything to compare it to......... untill now. :D
