Finally Getting My Hilux

I've driven vans for years but as no I longer need one I decided the time was right for me to do the decent, eco-friendly thing and get something much smaller and more economical....

...then, while passing a local garage last week, I saw sense and realised that I was now in a position to be able to get something I've always wanted. A Hilux. One test drive later and I realise what I've been waiting for all these years!

So my Berlingo van is being traded in this week, on Wedensday 15th October to be precise, for a 1995 Hilux Surf, 3ltr TD. A bit scuffed but in all the right places and I'm finally going to get the vehicle I've always wanted .....and I cannot wait!!

You will love it, I've had my 1994 a month now & I'm still grinning :D it's like driving around in your armchair, I keep thinking of places I need to go just so I can go out in it, it's costing me a fortune in fuel at the moment.

That's excellent, all you have to do now is put your mark on it, I fitted seat covers & I'm thinking of changing the stereo & Speakers, I'm fitting a roof console & CB radio for green laning, I'm just making it mine.
