Dear Fellow Rav4 lovers.

Does anyone have any feedback on "Diesel Tuning Kits"?

Have any of you fitted one of these to your Rav?

I have a new 08 D4D 2.2 and was thinking of fitting one.

Googled Kingo and Parts_King and found nothing relevent.

Tried to register on Lindop Toyota website to find more. but it fails and puts you back to registration page each time you try to register?????

We do chip kits, but not for T180 models, benefits are 20% increase in power and depending on driver, you should see improved MPG of between 5-7 MPG

Their conclusion was .... They DO work

I thought it was a well written article and explained quite well why the original manufacturers setup can still be improved on - worth a read if considering a chip.

I just wish someone did one for the Petrol VVT-i engine

anyone know how much these chips are for a 2.0 d4-d? and whether it's possible to diy fit?

We charge £375 per kit, inc delivery, you can fit them DIY, you need some mechanical knowledge, as you need to remove injector jack plugs and fasten up a feed/earth wire to the Battery
