A question for all you celica heads!

I can get a 2005 black, premium blue, gen 7 ,one owner , 12k miles from a toyota dealership for £9,500.

1...Is that ok in your opinions? Or 2... should I wait for a few weeks `till 2009 and go for a 2006 model?( i.e. do you think that they will drop much in price after december 31st?).

Thanks for your time guys.

Is £9.5K the screen asking price or the best price they will sell it to you for?. Toyota Dealerships tend to have a £2K "mark up", so if you can negotiate a big discount off that price, Premium Blue's are not exactly common.

As regards depreciation, I would guesstimate that Car is losing £200 a month at the moment. My feeling is that in a few weeks time, most people will be concentrating on Christmas, and Dealerships will be desperate to "shift the metal". As the Showrooms empty, buyers will be like gold dust and the Sales staff will treat you as such.

Thanks again Scarlett...It`s actually for sale at £10,495....he said he would take £9,400 no less and as I would be exporting it to Ireland and would not need a guarantee. The tax and MOT status would not be of any advantage to me as I will have to tax it here the moment I bring it in....((€600!) I also have to pay 28% of the open market selling price here which will work out at approx. €6,500!....U guys have it easy in the UK!! hehe.)

But I was thinking of hanging on for a few weeks to see if there are any bargains goin`...
