has anyone got any figures for wot th oil pressure should be on t sport compressor engine???

as i've had previous problems with dipstick blowin out, had this sorted by replacing dipstick an holder

but now few months on i've noticed started blowin dipstick again and that there is oil leakin from round the seal of the sump, which at moment i can only put down to high oil pressure

it's goin to Mr T tomoz as it's under warranty, but as i'm makin them check the oil pressure i want to know wot it should be at

thanks

Gases getting down into the sump, rings may be. Can you feel air coming out the dip stick when the car is running?

It doesn't sound like your oil pressure to me. As said above it's the crankcase being pressurised with exhaust gasses. It's quite normal to have some gas in the crankcase, no piston rings seal 100%, and this gas is vented by the crankcase breather system.

So if the crankcase is over pressurised it's either a) blocked/partially blocked crankcase breather or, I'm sad to say, B) worn/broken piston rings. Be prepared for a big bill and if it turns out to be blocked breather then that would be a bonus!

Good luck anyway!
